4.1 Local Processing

All Image Tools process your images entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images are never uploaded to Prompt Minds' servers or any third-party servers. Once you close the browser tab, all processed image data is permanently cleared from browser memory.

4.2 Supported Operations

• Image Compressor: Reduces image file size by adjusting quality levels (1-100%). Output available in JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats. Maximum upload size: 10MB per image.
• Image Resizer: Resizes images to custom dimensions with aspect ratio lock option. Supports all major image formats.
• Background Remover: Uses client-side AI algorithms to detect and remove image backgrounds. Results may vary based on image complexity and subject contrast.
• Blur Face: Detects faces using browser-based detection APIs and applies Gaussian blur for privacy protection. Face detection accuracy depends on image quality, face angle, and lighting conditions.
• Photo Enhancer: Adjusts brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, and other parameters using Canvas pixel manipulation.
• Photo Filters & Instagram Filters: Apply artistic effects and social-media-style filters. These tools do not connect to Instagram or any social media platform.

• You are solely responsible for the content of images you process and the output you generate.
• You must not use our Image Tools to process illegal content, including but not limited to child exploitation material, images that violate others' privacy rights, or copyrighted material without authorization.
• Results may vary based on image quality, format, resolution, and browser capabilities.

4.4 Output Rights

All output generated by our Image Tools (compressed images, converted files, edited images, etc.) belongs entirely to you. Prompt Minds claims no ownership, license, or rights over processed images. We do not add watermarks, branding, or metadata to your output files.

5. PDF Tools — Terms of Use

The following terms apply specifically to the use of our PDF Processing Tools:

5.1 Local Processing

All PDF Tools process your documents entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript libraries (PDF.js, jsPDF, pdf-lib). Your PDF documents are never uploaded to any external server.

5.2 Supported Operations

• Document Manipulation: Merge, Split, Compress, Rotate, Reorder Pages, Delete Pages — all performed in browser memory.
• Format Conversion: PDF to JPG, PDF to PNG, PDF to Text, PDF to HTML, JPG to PDF, PNG to PDF, Word to PDF, Excel to PDF, Text to PDF — all converted locally.
• Document Editing: Sign PDF, Add Watermark, PDF Metadata Editor, Page Numbering, Crop PDF — all modifications are client-side.
• Security: Password Protect PDF, Unlock PDF — encryption and decryption happen locally. We never see your passwords.
• Advanced: OCR PDF (using Tesseract.js for browser-based optical character recognition), Grayscale PDF conversion.

5.3 User Responsibilities for PDF Tools

• You must have the legal right to process any PDF documents you upload — as the creator, authorized user, or with legitimate access.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your original PDF files before processing.
• You must not use our PDF Unlock tool to circumvent password protection on documents you do not own or are not authorized to access.
• OCR results may not be 100% accurate, especially for complex layouts, handwritten text, or low-quality scans.

5.4 Output Rights

All output generated by our PDF Tools belongs entirely to you. Prompt Minds claims no ownership over processed documents.

6. Calculator Tools — Terms of Use

The following terms apply specifically to the use of our Calculator Tools:

6.1 Available Calculators

• EMI Calculator: Calculates Equated Monthly Installments for loans based on principal amount, interest rate, and tenure.
• SIP Calculator: Calculates Systematic Investment Plan returns based on monthly investment, expected returns, and investment period.

• Scraping & Automation: Using automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access our Website or Tools in bulk without prior written permission.
• Impersonation: Impersonating Prompt Minds, our staff, or any other entity while using our Services.
• Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse engineering, or attempting to extract the source code of our proprietary software beyond what is accessible through browser developer tools.

• The design system, animations, CSS stylesheets, JavaScript functionality, and overall user experience of our Website and Tools are proprietary.

9.2 Your Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all files (images, PDFs, documents) you process using our Tools.
• We do not claim any ownership, license, or rights over your User Content.
• Output files generated by our Tools (compressed images, converted PDFs, etc.) belong entirely to you.

9.3 Open-Source Components

Our Tools may utilize open-source libraries (such as PDF.js, jsPDF, pdf-lib, Tesseract.js) which are subject to their respective open-source licenses. These libraries are used in compliance with their license terms.

10. User Content & File Processing

Regarding the files and content you process using our Tools:

• Zero Upload Architecture: All files are processed locally in your browser. We never receive, store, or have access to your files.
• No Backups: Because files are processed locally, we cannot recover lost files, undo operations, or retrieve processed outputs. You are responsible for maintaining your own file backups.
• No File Recovery: Once a browser tab is closed, all processed data is permanently lost. Download your results before closing the page.
• Browser Limitations: Processing capabilities depend on your device's hardware, available memory, browser version, and operating system. Very large files may not process correctly on devices with limited resources.
• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that files you process do not violate any laws, infringe on third-party rights, or contain prohibited content.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROMPT MINDS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Prompt Minds (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free tool users, our total liability shall not exceed ₹100 INR (One Hundred Indian Rupees).

14. Web Design Services — Specific Terms

For users who engage Prompt Minds for premium web design and development services, the following additional terms apply:

14.1 Service Scope

Prompt Minds provides custom web development including UI/UX design, SEO optimization, ad network integration (AdSense/Adsterra), and hosting setup on Google infrastructure (Blogger/Cloud).

14.2 Payment Terms

• Advance Payment (50%): Required to start the project. Covers domain registration and initial development. Non-refundable once the domain is purchased.
• Final Payment (50%): Due when the website reaches 500+ organic visitors OR 60 days after launch, whichever comes first.

14.3 Intellectual Property Transfer

Upon full payment, the Client receives 100% ownership of the website, including domain name, source code, and graphical assets. Prompt Minds retains the right to showcase the project in our portfolio unless a separate NDA is executed.

14.4 Client Obligations

Clients must provide necessary content (logos, text, images) within 5 working days of project start. Delays in content delivery may result in extended delivery timelines. Prompt Minds is not responsible for delays caused by the client.

14.5 Separate Agreements

Web design projects may be subject to separate, detailed service agreements that supersede these general Terms regarding the specific project scope, deliverables, and timelines.

15. Modifications to Terms

Prompt Minds reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
• Material changes will be announced through a prominent notice on our Website.
• Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
• If you disagree with any changes, you must discontinue use of our Services.
