Quick Answer

Drop your PSD files into the box, put them in order with the arrow buttons, choose the page size and press Create PDF. Each Photoshop design becomes one page of a PDF that anyone can open on a phone or computer. You can also make one PDF per PSD. The converter uses the flattened image saved inside each PSD (Photoshop's default 'Maximize Compatibility'), and nothing is uploaded.

Why Convert PSD to PDF?

Designers work in Photoshop's PSD format, but the people who need to see the work — clients, managers, printers, colleagues, teachers — usually don't have Photoshop. Sending a stack of 100 MB PSD files is slow, and most recipients can't open them at all. A PDF solves both problems: it opens on every phone, tablet and computer, shows pages in a clear order, and is the expected format for proofs, portfolios and presentations.

This PSD to PDF converter (PSD से PDF) takes one or more Photoshop files and places each design on its own PDF page, in the order you choose. It runs in your browser, needs no Photoshop and never uploads your artwork.

How to Use It

  1. Drop your PSD files — up to 30, each up to 200 MB.
  2. Set the order: use the ↑ buttons to move designs up; ✕ removes a file. The list order becomes the page order.
  3. Pick the page size: "Same as image size" keeps each design at its real print size; A4 or US Letter puts every design on a standard sheet with a margin.
  4. Choose the output: one PDF with all designs, or one PDF per PSD in a ZIP.
  5. Press Create PDF. The status line shows each file being read, then the PDF downloads.

How Each Design Becomes a Page

Photoshop saves a flattened copy of the visible design inside every PSD when "Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility" is enabled — the default. The converter reads that composite with the open-source ag-psd library, so every effect, blend mode, smart object and font looks exactly as it did in Photoshop, without needing the fonts or plug-ins installed. The image is then placed on a PDF page with pdf-lib. Designs with transparent areas are embedded losslessly as PNG; fully opaque designs are embedded as high-quality JPG to keep the PDF a sensible size.

Page Size Options

  • Same as image size: uses the resolution saved in the PSD to work out the real size. A design created at A4, 300 DPI (2480 × 3508 px) becomes an A4 page; a 1080 × 1080 Instagram post saved at 72 DPI becomes a 15 × 15 inch page, which screens simply scale to fit.
  • A4 or US Letter: each design is scaled to fit inside the page with an 18-point (quarter-inch) margin, centred, and wide designs automatically get landscape pages. Ideal for printable proof sheets and mixed-size portfolios.

Common Uses

  • Client proofs: send all versions of a logo, poster or packaging design in one PDF for approval.
  • Portfolios: turn a folder of PSDs into a single PDF portfolio for job applications or college admissions.
  • Print shops: view and print customer PSDs as PDF proofs without Photoshop.
  • Presentations: share campaign creatives — social posts, banners, thumbnails — as one document in a meeting.
  • Wedding and event cards: combine invitation front, back and insert designs into one PDF for the family to review on WhatsApp.
  • Teaching and assignments: students can submit Photoshop coursework as a PDF their teacher can open.

Worked Example

A freelancer has designed a restaurant's menu: menu-front.psd, menu-inside.psd and menu-back.psd, each A4 at 300 DPI, 90–150 MB apiece. The owner wants one file to check on their phone. Drop all three, use the ↑ buttons so the order is front, inside, back, keep "Same as image size" and "One PDF", and press Create PDF. The result is a 3-page A4 PDF that is a small fraction of the PSDs' total size and opens instantly on any phone — and prints at exactly A4 if the owner wants a paper copy.

Building a Design Portfolio PDF

A single, well-ordered PDF is still the most common way to apply for design jobs, internships and art-college admissions. To build one, collect your best PSDs, drop them in, and arrange them so your strongest work comes first and related projects sit together. Choose A4 (or US Letter for American applications) so every page has the same size and margins even when the designs have different shapes — square social posts, tall posters and wide banners all sit neatly centred. Keep the portfolio short and focused: ten to fifteen strong pieces usually make a better impression than forty average ones. Add a cover page and a short introduction by merging a separate PDF in front with Merge PDF.

One PDF per PSD

Sometimes each design should travel on its own — a separate proof for each client, or one file per product label for a printer's order system. Choose One PDF per PSD (ZIP): every PSD becomes its own PDF named after the original file, and all of them download together in a single ZIP. With just one PSD in the list, you simply get that one PDF. The page-size setting applies to every file in the same way.

Is It Print-Ready?

For proofs, office printing and digital sharing, yes — each page carries the full-resolution design. For commercial offset printing, however, printers usually want a PDF exported from Photoshop or InDesign with CMYK colours, bleed, crop marks and vector text. This tool flattens each design into an RGB image, so text is not selectable and colour management is basic. Use it for reviews and quick prints, and ask your designer for a press-ready PDF for the final print run.

Sharing the PDF

Because the PDF contains compressed images rather than layered Photoshop data, it is usually far smaller than the original PSDs and easy to attach to an email, upload to Google Drive or send on WhatsApp. Recipients can zoom into fine details on a phone, print pages at home or in the office, or add comments in any PDF reader — no design software, app or account required.

Limitations

  • Composite required: PSDs saved without "Maximize Compatibility" can't be converted; re-save them in Photoshop.
  • Flattened pages: layers and text become part of the image and can't be edited or selected in the PDF.
  • PSB files aren't supported.
  • Colour modes: 8-bit RGB and greyscale designs work best; CMYK or 16-bit files may fail or shift colours.
  • Size: canvases above about 40 megapixels exceed browser limits.

Private by Design

Client artwork, unreleased campaigns and personal projects stay on your device. The PSD is read and the PDF is built entirely inside your browser with open-source libraries (ag-psd and pdf-lib). Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and no account is needed.

Troubleshooting

  • "This PSD has no flattened image": re-save it in Photoshop with Maximize Compatibility set to Always.
  • Pages are enormous: the PSD was saved at 72 DPI for screen use. Choose A4 or US Letter for printable pages.
  • The PDF is large: high-resolution designs make big PDFs; shrink it with Compress PDF.
  • Wrong order: rearrange the list with the ↑ buttons before creating the PDF.
  • Colours differ from Photoshop: CMYK and wide-gamut files are converted to standard screen colours.

Tips

  • Protect previews: stamp the PDF with Add Watermark to PDF before sending it to clients.
  • Add other pages: combine the result with a cover letter, price quote or invoice using Merge PDF.
  • Mixed sizes? A4 or Letter mode gives a tidy, uniform document with every design centred on the page.
  • Keep the PSDs as your editable masters, and convert again whenever the design changes so the PDF always matches the latest version.

Works on Any Device

The converter runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPhone. Very large PSDs are quicker on a computer with plenty of memory.

Quick Glossary

  • PSD: Photoshop's layered design format.
  • Composite: the flattened image of all visible layers saved in the PSD.
  • Proof: a preview of a design sent for checking and approval.
  • Bleed: extra image area beyond the trim edge, needed for professional printing.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I convert PSD to PDF without Photoshop?

Drop the PSD files into the box and press Create PDF. The flattened design stored in each PSD is placed on a PDF page in your browser — no Photoshop needed.

Can I combine several PSD files into one PDF?

Yes. Add them all, arrange the order with the up arrows and keep 'One PDF, one page per PSD'.

What page size will the PDF have?

'Same as image size' uses the resolution saved in the PSD, so an A4 design made at 300 DPI becomes an A4 page. A4 or US Letter places each design on a standard page with a margin, turning wide designs landscape.

Will the text in the PDF be selectable?

No. Each design is flattened into an image, so text can't be selected or edited. Use Photoshop's own PDF export if you need live text.

Is the quality good enough for printing?

Opaque designs are embedded as high-quality JPG and transparent ones losslessly as PNG at full resolution. For professional print with exact colours and vector text, export a PDF from Photoshop.

Why do I get a 'no flattened image' error?

The PSD was saved with 'Maximize Compatibility' off. Re-save it in Photoshop with the option set to Always.

Can I make one PDF for each PSD?

Yes. Choose 'One PDF per PSD (ZIP)' to download a ZIP containing a PDF for every file.

Does it keep transparency?

Yes. Transparent areas are kept in the PDF page, so the page background shows through.

How many files can I add?

Up to 30 PSD files of up to 200 MB each.

Are my designs uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser.

Does it work on phones?

Yes, in modern browsers, though very large PSDs are faster on a computer.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free with no sign-up and no watermark.
